"Negative self talk took shape in the summer of 2021 after Cecil asked to drop a bigby ep on Fang Over Fist. It was completed 6 long months later in January of 2022

Beat tape on one, in Matt Rust we trust, and out of pocket out of mind were all created for the EP.

Skate at sundown, waiting for the rain, and electronic pegasus were all tracks I had made prior to working on the EP. For the most part they remained intact as originally conceived. But the second halves of these songs went through various verisons of soundscapes and different takes.

I initially struggled with how to present myself musically as I enjoy making original music along with sampled based beats. So I chose to put both on display.

Various synth VSTs and different drum packs were used for this project completed entirely in FL studio."
