Howdy,

Tré, and I have been wanting to do an album together since 2013. We met back when everyone was making the jump from Myspace to Facebook, and we began our journey with me recording his tracks. Prior to now Tré has released three mixtapes; I have tracks spread throughout two of them.

This song is the first single, and it holds a special place in my heart. The album itself is very dark, heavy, and intense. We were both we're going through a grieving process when we started, and after that the political climate fed into it as well. This song is the ray of sunshine. The first time we performed it was in Portland when we attempted a tour (shout out Bloodmoney Perez). It's a banger.
